Maintenance Specialist - 12096C
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Makes minor repairs to the interior/exterior of buildings and facilities and maintains furniture and equipment, employing basic skills in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and mechanical.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
This position requires the employee to be trained for exterior repairs, knowledge of tolls and it's function. all work will be associated with repairs to the Res Life apartment buildings on campus.
Monday - Friday
7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance
This position is considered Essential Personnel in Facilities Management and Candidate must possess a valid Drivers License.
The formal education equivalent of a High School Diploma
One year of experience or training in the building construction trades, general building maintenance, or in the repair or maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee.
