Program Coordinator - Energy Management - 16026C

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops installation plan and programming of building automation/energy management systems on new construction and renovation projects
  • Works with campus engineer and consultant engineer on implementing BAS/EMS sequence of operations (programmed into the field controllers) to optimize operation of HVAC systems to provide environmental compfort while minimizing energy consumption
  • Offers technical assistance and suggestions in designing, planning, and implementing various functions associated with HVAC Automation Systems
  • Conducts training concerning area of responsibility covering maintenance and operation of energy management systems and building occupant operation strategies
  • Attends campus and off-campus sites to observe BAS/EMS operations and implement changes where Improvements are warranted
  • Compiles information on building energy use and reports periodically compared to baseline data
  • Performs administrative duties such as managing BAS/EMS construction projects and compiling information for budget preparation
  • Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of the organization and administration of various higher education academic and social programs, campus and community resources, and state, federal, and campus rules, regulations, and requirements related to campus academic and social programs

Ability to coordinate the activities of campus academic and/or social programs, evaluate collected information and formulate into recommendations, and compile information into report form

 

General Days/Hours:

Monday - Friday
7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance

Job Requirements

The formal education equivalent of a Bachelor's Degree with a major in Sociology, Public Administration, or a related field

Two (2) years of experience in program administration or related area

Must possess a valid Driver's License

Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee
