The Fiscal Support Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities of fiscal support personnel within an assigned department or program. This position is governed by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

This person fulfills the mission of the A-State Farm. In addition to oversight of daily operations, the University Farm Lab Technician will provide a vital service to faculty (primarily Plant & Soil Sciences) to help prepare teaching laboratories and implement research projects. The Farm Lab Tech also has the critical role of maintaining the horticultural display garden, farmer's market grounds, and research plots.
Two new research partnerships with Syngenta and Pinnacle Ag will begin this summer and require major assistance of the University Farm Lab Technician. This position will assist with other farm projects and operations as needed, and will provide progress reports to their supervisor, the Associate Dean of the College of Agriculture.
