Duties & Responsibilities:
- Compilation and maintenance of departmental information and records such as purchasing, budgeting, and bookkeeping
- Revises and updates course schedules for each semester on the Banner System
- Prepares and administers course evaluation projects each semester
- Assists Chair and faculty with university travel and reimbursement matters
- Maintains records, files, and retrieves information upon request
- Prepares paperwork and maintains accurate records of information associated with online degree programs
- Handles the interview process, supervision and paperwork of Work-Study Students and Part-time employees
- Copies and collates materials for distribution to faculty and students
- Organizes and manages annual student awards ceremony and assists with student recruitment activities.
- Assists department chair with meeting PRT deadlines
- Provides clerical support for department committees
- Maintains P-card and Travel card reconciliations
- Assists Academic Advisors by lifting advising holds, issuing registration permits in Banner 9, and providing other administrative assistance
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of the principles and practices of mathematics and statistics
Knowledge of research and analysis techniques and methods
Knowledge of work-related subject area
Knowledge of computers and software applications
Ability to prepare, present, and review oral and written information and reports
Ability to research and analyze related work program information
Ability to develop, recommend, interpret, and apply policies and procedures
Ability to analyze financial records and prepare reports
Ability to plan, organize, and direct the work of others
General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed

Job Requirements
The formal education equivalent of a High School Diploma
One (1) year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field
Two (2) years of experience in a specialized or a related field applicable to work performed
Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or parts of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee
